"As part of the history of trade unionism in B.C., this is a story that all workers need to hear. Unifor Local 514 is proud and honoured to contribute to the Ginger Goodwin documentary project." - Unifor Local 514
Local 514, representing employees of the Port Alice Pulp Mill, jumped on board with a cheque for $514 towards post-production financing for 'Goodwin's Way'. Recognizing that Port Alice is a single-industry town like Cumberland once was, the 'Goodwin's Way' Team is especially thankful for Local 514's contribution.
"Ginger Goodwin's story is a compelling and fascinating one, and it's encouraging to hear that he continues to inspire people in the Cumberland area a hundred years after he was gunned down. Unifor Local 433 is proud to be associated with 'Goodwin's Way', and pleased to be able to contribute financially to the film." - Unifor Local 433.
The film's first major contribution came from Local 433, who pledged $1,000 towards post-production financing for 'Goodwin's Way'. We are extremely grateful for their early support!
